What a fantastic week - well done to you all – we smashed the made to measure and ready to wear targets and last year’s figures too. The new made to measure promotion seemed to take off well with decent figures coming out of most branches. [John Collins, Europe]

California Fires

USA - Notes from Andy Schofield

A slight improvement on last weeks figures guys, so right off the bat – Well done for giving it all you had last week. A few branches managed to meet and beat target which helped us just creep over 2007’s figures, coming in this year with 102% although this was still lower than expected, missing target with 86%

Ready Made had some special Father’s Day reductions which helped the week, finishing with 86% against target and a respectable 99% against last year – basically the same biz guys!

Made to Measure faired slightly better and the “Two for a price” sale is going well in its first week. We closed the week 108% over last years numbers but lower than projected with 85% against target.

Tough times are upon us Ladies & Gents and now is the time to get your thinking caps on – we won’t survive this “Recession” by just standing behind our counters waiting for business to come to us…. We have to chase it!

So... What are you going to do this week??

Week 11 - SUPER STARS!

  • MCCHORD AFBDrew takes the number one spot this week which is great to see – It’s been many months since this branch was in this list let alone in the number one spot so well done Drew! It’s been difficult in Washington State as many of the troops in Iraq are from this area but Drew (and Dave – 111% this week!) have weathered the storm and are now reaping the results. Great result!
  • MACDILL AFB – Another branch that hasn’t been “On Top” for a while but it’s good to see it here again! Zoran made 136% last week and over $2,000 of that was on Measures! It’s been in the 90’s in FL this last week so no excuses from you guys that you can’t sell suits when it’s hot! – Excellent job Zoran… Well done.
  • FORT BRAGG – Just beaten into the third spot this week Adelle managed to hit 134% of target but had the highest percentage increase over last years numbers with 235% - Wow! Adelle had one of her infamous Fashion Shows this week and again, the store and management went all out for her, setting up a runway, music and a photographer – as usual! This 300 Sq. Ft. branch did over $6,200 last week guys...
  • FORT CARSON – This branch isn’t in the lights so often and has also been hit hard with troop movements. Paul however made sure this branch made it onto the list this week with 132% and $4,000 in total sales. Paul’s other branch BUCKLEY AFB also made the list with 109% over target. These two branches will be handed over to some lucky individual in a couple of months as Paul readies himself for a move to Quantico in a couple of months.

Other branches that made target last week and helped us over last years numbers were:

FORT MEADE (Trevor) with 112%, LANGLEY (Dave) with 103% & FORT SAM (Jeff), with 102% - Great Job Fellas!

One last note of recognition goes out to QUANTICO this week to Mark & Amanda who had the top sales this week with $8,300 total. A feat in itself but also a great job as Mark was helping train Kelly still and Amanda was covering at Myer for most of the week! Great planning and conviction from them both saw the branch hit target and also have the largest cumulative sales this week…. Hat’s off to you two – Job Well Done!

Keep it up everyone – Good luck & Good Trading this week.

What a fantastic week - well done to you all – we smashed the made to measure and ready to wear targets and last year’s figures too. The new made to measure promotion seemed to take off well with decent figures coming out of most branches. Let’s keep up the good work and keep that momentum going. Ready to wear also came in very strong with late Father‘s Day customers wanting to treat their Fathers to something other than a pair of socks.

So how did the individual branches do?

FULL TIME BRANCHES

So let’s see who the movers will be next week. Who will be in and who will be out of the top five. Can Vince eventually be above Dave?? Will we see Gary back in the lights?? Who will not be mentioned next week?

Thank you, good health, and good trading.
