The summer months are on us now as the BX/PX has a lot less footfall due to the annual turnover of troops, school holidays and warmer weather. It may have been quieter in the stores but most of us performed well, with made to measure beating both target and last year and ready made just missing target at 90% but 100% of last year that meant that overall we did around the same amount of business as last year. In fact we only missed it by $14 - where was that tie sale?

So how did the individual branches do?

THIS WEEKS TOP FIVE BRANCHES
FULL TIME BRANCHES

  • No 1 Kaiserslautern: Leigh Poulton and Rob Miller. Moving up four places to reclaim top spot. with133% of combined target, even with a slow week. Well done the young ones of the area.
  • No 2 Stuttgart: Vince Blackett YESSS, Vince has done it - he finished higher up the top five than Dave Cox, Vince will be over the moon. Staying in the same spot as last week with 129% of combined target and an amazing 314% of last year. Must have been really quiet last year. Well done Vince.
  • No 3 Ramstein and Chievres : Trevor Scarratt and Rob Miller. Back in the top five club after a slight absence with 109% of combined target and a very healthy 180% of last year.
  • Also in third spot dropping two places is Dave Cox from Chievres also with 109% of combined target and 101% of last year. Well Dave, Vince has done it at last he will be very happy. Great job gentlemen.
  • No 5 Heidelberg: Alan Self. Moving down one position with 97% of combined target but with 135% of last year. Well done Alan.

So let’s see who the movers will be next week. Who will be in and who will be out of the top five.

Can Vince stay ahead of Dave?? Will Kaiserslautern keep the top spot?? Will we see Gary back up in the lights?? Who will be mentioned next week and who will not be mentioned?

SUMMER TIME

As Alan Self mentioned in his comments ti’s the season of lower footfall. We have more time on our hands then we would like. so to pass the time between customers we should give the shop a good once over.

Clean underneath the floor racks, back bays, check all light fittings replace burnt out bulbs, swinger tickets, ripped shirt bags etc. I know I do not have to tell you what to do as you all know, but some times we need a reminder every now and again.

I would like to thank you all once again for your dedication and hard work.

Thank you, good health, and good trading.

John Collins
