Everyone turned in a good result last week and saw the USA close out the week at 94% of Target overall and a much improved 122% over last years numbers – Good job everyone.

USA - Notes from Andy Schofield

The cooler weather is here guys & gals and the sales are starting to pick up steam! Last week saw us climb a little, while the economy doesn’t really know what it’s doing!!

Everyone turned in a good result last week and saw the USA close out the week at 94% of Target overall and a much improved 122% over last years numbers – Good job everyone.

Made to Measure almost made target with 92% and it looks like the sale is just starting to get through to customers now – As you’ve already seen we’ve decided to extend the current MM promo until the 8th…. Now’s a great time to earn yourself some extra commission and get those “Stragglers” in to buy a suit.

Many of you were please to hear the news of the extension as you’ve had customers call that can’t make it in before the end of September so show me how pleased you are – With some sales!!

Ready Made did well last week ending with 96% against target and 111% over last years numbers. A nice return everyone – well done.

It goes to show you that even though it would seem (If you listen to the news reports) that the Economy is suffering and the world could end in an instant! (Well, not really!) that if you keep planting the seeds, you’ll be reaping the benefits later on.

Keep pushing guys – Add on sales, extra pair of trousers, a sports jacket, a shirt or even just a tie…. It all makes a difference in the BIG PICTURE!

Week 25 - SUPER STARS!

As I’ve mentioned, we came close last week to hitting our overall target. We had 8 branches last week that made target – Now that’s a good looking number!

Two branches in particular stood out for “Top Dollar Sales” last week – Belvoir & Henderson both exceeded their goals, but both also had the largest combined sales total of the week – Belvoir hit $9875 just beating Henderson by a suit who finished with $9500! – I know Kelly will be devastated….. Come on Kelly! You can top that, can’t ya?!

  • FORT LEWIS – Nice one Dave! Finishing the “Quiet” week with 123% of target and 246% (Yep that’s right!) over last year… nice to see the branch up here – right Dave?!
  • FORT DIX – Not happy with the third place position she had last week Nicky made sure she fought hard to get up a notch this week. “Early starts and late nights” was Nicky’s secret to hitting 123% of her target and a massive 210% of last year – Let’s not forget that she increased to a grade “B” last year guys!! It looks like she’s on track to making it a “C”
  • HENDERSON HALL – With total sales of $9500 Kelly almost made it to the top BUT, there is one title she does hold on her own for last week – Highest Dollar Sales on MM! With almost $5,500 on MM alone Kelly certainly doesn’t seem like the “New Kid On The Block” – Excellent result Kelly…. Can you do it again this week??
  • NELLIS AFBTrevor completed a TAPs class last week and the results are starting to show. Up here with the other “Stars” this week – finishing with 119% over target and also 119% over last years numbers…. I can’t wait to see those big numbers from Big Trev!

The other four branches that made target last week were:

  • Fort Bragg (112%) – Well done Adelle.
  • Langley AFB (110%) – Go on Big Dave!
  • Fort Meade (107%) – The “Other” Newbie making her mark – Excellent Amanda!
  • Fort Belvoir (100%) – Big numbers only just get you in at Belvoir! – Well done Steve & Nathan.

Bad Boys… Bad Boys…. Whatcha Gonna Do??

A little something from Richard at Fort Myer (95% last week by the way – No cigar, but nice all the same!)

On Sunday I was at the VA Scottish Highland Games and I bumped into one of my customers in the “Beer Tent.”

He is a Lt. Col. in the navy and a part time actor and he told me that he occasionally does some work on “America’s Most Wanted” TV series, where they recreate crimes to try and “jog” people’s memories in case they have any useful information about crimes.

Some time ago he and a fellow actor were wearing a couple of our ties on the set for one of their “recreations!”

I don’t know if that helped solve the crime or not however!

Regards, Richard

Good luck & Good Trading this week.
Andy.
