California Fires

USA - Notes from Andy Schofield

Only 4 more weeks till the year end guys! It’s going to be a tough month but I know you can all do it… have been doing it!

Last week saw us (yet again) climb this steep ladder, another rung. We closed the week with 92% against target which is a great achievement at this time of the year everyone, so well done to all of you.

Made to measure did very well again and it’s obvious that your hard work and determination is starting to pay off. The week started slowly again and with the increasing gas prices which seem to drive our customers spending, we thought that it was going to be a dead week. It wasn’t, and business picked up at the weekend to see us smash target again this week with 122% with a figure exactly the same as last years!

Ready Made is heading in the right direction and we closed out the week with 80% against target and 83% on last years numbers. Not as good as Measures, but this number is steady and heading up!

Keep it going everyone, don’t let the momentum slow down… push for every extra sale you can get no matter how small you think it is. That extra tie sale can and will make all the difference.

Week 48 - STAR PLAYERS

  • FORT BELVOIR – Riding on the success of week 47, Steve managed to pull another stellar week out of the bag this weekend, with top dollar sales and top percentage over target. Assisted through the week by Amanda & Nathan it started out slow and everyone worried it wasn’t going to be the success it was last week….. Until “Super Steve” grabbed his cape and up, up and away! – Saturday saw the branch do over $14,000 and close the week with over $18,300 in total sales… well done everyone and especially Steve who again, didn’t get a lunch on Saturday!! (Bring the cape in this weekend too Steve please!)
  • FORT BRAGG – As with last week this result would normally have Adelle in the top spot but again she was bumped into second place – by only 1%. Adelle made target this week with over $5,500 in total sales and 152% against target. She is well on her way now to getting the “Grade B” honor under her belt.
  • NELLIS AFB – Another great week for Allan, with over 135% of sales over target and 130% over last year’s number. A strong result for Nellis and one that should continue now the buying season is upon us in the desert (Tax time and buying season = same in Vegas!)
  • FORT DIX – There she is! Not happy that she didn’t get her name in lights last week, Nicky made sure the branch was here this week with 123% over target and a massive 155% over last year – Excellent result Nicky.

An Honorable mention this week goes to Fort Myer & Henderson Hall who were the only other branches to make target this week. Well done Richard & Rahim.

COMPETITION

I wanted to do something a little bit different this month, and from what I can tell the prize that most of you want is extra time off!

Who wants an extra day off in April??

The branch with the top cumulative percentage sales above target for the month of March wins an extra day off (Excludes a Saturday… sorry!). Let’s pull out all the stops guys and you can kick back and enjoy the Spring with an extra day off in the week (Three Days Off – did someone say beach??!... it would be nice being off Sunday, Monday & Tuesday!!)

Regards
Andy
